Nice Animations :) A way to watch all the toons ASAP is to change the date on your PC ahead and then reload the flash.
Very Super PSTW Action RPG-ish
This was funny, but it was clearly inspired by Super PSTW Action RPG. I thought so in the beginning, but when the dying speech scene came on, I knew for sure it was inspired by it. With that said, this was pretty funny and enjoyable. 8/10
Good animation... But definitely no game...
I would have given this an 8 if it were listed as a movie (-2 from 10 because they are sticks), however, it's not listed as a movie, it's listed as a game. You don't just "watch" a game, you interact with it. This could have just as easily been on YouTube with the same effect.
Now on to the animation, it's actually very good, but when I see such good animation, it's a little confusing why you would waste such talent on sticks. No offense, but sticks are what a lot of us drew in flipbooks to animate as kids, or at least that's my story.
You might think I'm being an asshole, but I'm not, what I'm getting at is you're very talented and I don't want to see you waste such talent on something as simple as sticks.
if you think sticks are so simple, try them yourself. They are more of an art form than most give them respect for. Ask the best animators out there. If you want to see high-quality realistic movements, gravity, weight and exaggeration it comes straight from the pure frame by frame animation brought out in stick figure animation.
It's always interesting to see peoples reviews twist after a comment is made. Not one comment regarding this being a game or not was made for the first 50+ reviews.
We don't choose to do stick figures because 'we suck.' It's what we love to do. Just because it's different don't knock it. You'd think you'd get that at a place where you see varying types of animation styles and concepts as far as a letter 'b' reaching the top of the charts to a Disney FX animator being passed up by 14 year olds from their own creations on their basic home computer.
Thanks for the review. If I could review your review, I'd say open your mind.
I really enjoyed!
Can't believe the score is sitting at 3.72, it deserves at least a 4.00+! Good work guys :)
Not too bad, the current score is about right...
I didn't even feel like reviewing this until I read AlienHoffmanid's review. I wasn't crazy about the game, but damn, his review was just too hard on the game. It certainly doesn't deserve a 1, I couldn't rate this any lower than a 6 but I'm giving it a generous 7 - It's just a basic puzzle game with a unique look. But it's cool, it serves it's purpose, so I say let it just enjoy it's front page fame for the time.
And AlienHoffmanid... Relax and smoke one or something.
What's crazy...
Is that I've already played and beat this on the iPhone without realizing it was here on Newgrounds! This game is great and very professional in it's presentation. Great work!
Very underrated
I think the game is a lot of fun! People on here don't seem to see the same qualities that Tom saw when deciding to make this game of the week. I love the 8-bit theme and the game is just creative and plain fun. Great work :)
Well...
It's a trivia game with some polish... that's about all. And also "Desgi" (the reviewer below me), that is not a small thing for him to have an incorrect "correct" answer for a game based ONLY on trivia, that's a huge problem.
Just make sure next time, if you make a sequel, to do your research on all questions provided before publishing. Not bad I suppose.
Amazing game with a big flaw
And that would be the camera. Other than that, it's a beautiful game and I think it would have a much higher score. The camera bothered me at some points, but it wasn't so bad that I would give you any less than a 7/10 - 4/5. It is an awesome concept and I think with some adjustments to the camera, it could do wonders for the gameplay. Great game that deserves a better score, I give it a 9/10 - 5/5.
