What's up Newgrounders! It's been some time since I've posted any news on here or on my website, so I present you this Orchestrated Death II background creation time-lapse video :)

You can watch this YouTube clip or you can watch the high res version @ http://highwitamic.com on the front page.

And while I'm at it, here's another quick time-lapse or "speed art" project I did just a few days ago:

EDIT: Fixed :)

What's up guys, I present to you another point n' click adventure. I wish I could have released this on or just before christmas, so sorry that it's so late. I have been working hard on this trying to make the deadline for the Christmas competition, the idea hit me about a month ago, so I've worked on this like a mad man to make it in time. I hope you dig it :)

Game Description:

What the @#$% happened to Santa? He need's your help! Santa seems to have been kidnapped and has awoken in a disgusting, gloomy and quite scary scenario filled with traps and interesting contraptions. Your mission is to help guide Santa out of this hellish place in one piece and find out what's going on. Aid Santa in this festive point n' click adventure!

Well guys, it's been a damn good month, a lot of fun. "Orchestrated Death" has done a lot better than I even expected and I appreciate the exposure it gained from being on the front page for a majority of the month. I would like to thank each and every one of you for playing and reviewing the game, whether you thought it was utter shit, just okay or gold in SWF format, lol.

On to other news, it was mentioned on my website around the 7th of October, but I realize not everybody goes there so I figure it should be announced here too. The sequel to "Orchestrated Death" is currently in the works, since the first was so short, I think I owe it to the community to provide more interactive murder :) I already consider it a more complete game, even though it's in it's infancy. So to answer the question I found in so many reviews - Yes, a sequel is in progress (I swear I haven't forgotten about Heist 2 & 3).

Anyways, glad you guys enjoyed the game and if you didn't, then I apologize, can't please everybody :)

Well, It's the month of October and I have a new submission. It's called "Orchestrated Death", where you play as Death himself out on another day on the job. No connection between victims, just ruthless - and entertaining - murder in an arcadish point n ' click puzzle style. I'll be the first to tell you it's short, but it was just something fun for October and, to me, fit well with the holiday, although a little early :D

So, please check it out and let me know what you think of it. I appreciate any reviews, try to keep them constructive :)

Sorry to all those who have PM'd me about Heist III, it's in the works, I'm a bit more concerned about getting Heist II updated first. Hope you enjoy the game guys & gals!

Things have been alot slower than expected, but as of more recently I've been putting in alot of free time into updating Heist II. One of the biggest disappointments in the initial release was the fact that the store is basically non-existent, this was due to some programming problems I ran into and I promised a release date of halloween '07.

Well, I have finally fixed that problem, the store is fully functional thus far, still lacking a bit, but I'm adding some game-altering items for purchase. Some will require certain in-game items in order to purchase them (items obtained from rare enemy encounters). Speaking of "rare enemy encounters", that is also some of what I've been adding. These are "beings" that can be randomly encountered at anytime, but as mentioned, these will rarely occur :D

Last but not least, bug fixes/touch-ups. Yes, I realize the matches don't seem to be disappearing when you pick them up in the current version... And yes, I take note of every bug reported in reviews and PMs. I have made a ton of bug fixes in this version, made some minor change in dialogue and minor touch-ups on some of the graphics.

So there ya go, I apologize to anybody who had expected an update sooner, but I've been rather busy lately... But just know... There is an update coming! Just give it time :)

NOTE: THE CHANGES MENTIONED ABOVE HAVE NOT BEEN UPLOADED YET AND ARE STILL IN PROGRESS.

First off, I'd like to thank everybody for playing Heist II, I also appreciate all the feedback. I love to entertain, so I hope it lived up to it's expectations, for those of you who were looking forward to it. Which brings me to the reason for this post - the update :) With 2 kids (one of which is 2 months old) and a full-time job, it has left me with very little time to work on it as much as I'd like to. But no worries, I will still work on it as much as time permits.

The update, basically, consists of many more death-traps, the in-game store (which will have effect on gameplay this time, I promise!), small game additions & a few minor bug fixes. These were all originally set to be included with the games release on halloween. However, by setting a release date for the game, some things didn't make it into the game (the things mentioned above). I wish I could set a specific day for the update, but that would put me in the same boat as last time, things would be left out more than likely. So all I can say is just expect it within the next few months.

Again, I would like to thank everybody for they're time to play & review/score the game, it means alot to me - whether it be positive or negative - It helps me create better games. So until then, I hope you enjoy the game in it's current state and have a happy Thanksgiving. Later :)

Just in time for halloween, as promised :) It was uploaded to the portal just moments ago so check it out!

From game description:

Sponsered by ArmorGames.com

Features:
*Point & click Adventure
*Random puzzles
*Save feature (not yet fully implemented)
*Panaramic scenery

GAME NOTE: The store will be updated with items as time permits. More death traps will be added as well. Until then, enjoy the game!

Game summary:
Heist II is the sequel to the original point n' click adventure where you play as a thief determined to find & escape with money that is said to be hidden in an abandoned house. In this adventure you face many obstacles, while basically looking around for items to complete your mission. There are several ways to get yourself killed, and you will most likely figure this out the hard way. The games toughest obstacles are the random death sequences, these are instances in which the house throws a random death-trap your way, all of these requiring split-second reaction time with a click of a mouse or a stroke of a key. Death-trap react buttons are all arrow keys, space bar, and/or a mouse click. Heist also consists of a series of puzzles to keep you thinking in the midst of all the horror. Money is behind every corner...see how much you can get out with! Get ready for yet ANOTHER exciting trip to hell :)

Quick note:
This is my third submission to newgrounds, so i will appreciate any reviews & thoughts on this game. I spent roughly 1 year working on this game as time permited.

If you get stuck or have questions, right-click and choose "download walkthrough", this will bring you to the Heist II walkthrough.

Thank you & Happy Halloween!!!

Halloween is quickly closing in, i've been busting ass working on the next installment of Heist. Given the learning experience and the year between the release of the first Heist, i've put alot of effort into making sure the sequel is worth while...and i'm still doing so :) So here is a quick list of features currently working in the test release:

Features:

*Panoramic scenery based on mouse movement
*Save & Load feature
*Random item placement
*Revised swag system

These are features that are currently implemented and working in the latest test-release of Heist 2. Other features may be added before release, however the features listed above are guaranteed to be seen in the finished product. If you have any questions or suggestions feel free to PM me and express your thoughts. - Oz Mafioso
